Inspired by boutique rental + design houses on the east and west coasts, we noticed St. Louis was severely lacking in the DIY/creative event department.

So, owner - Jen Thaxton - hopped on a plane to AZ where she attended classes and seminars hosted by top industry professionals including: editors of Better Homes & Gardens & Martha Stewart Living, Koyal Wholesale, Amy Atlas (the dessert bar craze founder), Preston Bailey (event planner for Oprah, Donald Trump, & more), LoraLee Lewis (Nordstrom, Vogue) - to name a few. She came back with a brain full of ideas, inspiration, knowledge, and the eagerness to show St. Louis what it’s all about.

We Like To Party offers full service event planning and styling, day of wedding coordination, specialty stations & installations, rental services, and party supplies.

Borrow by WLTP is an eclectic curation of event rentals and props for hire. We scour thrift stores for vintage finds, locate local and/or small businesses and artisans for hand made, one of a kind items, and stock modern, bulk offerings for uniformity. Many of our decor options can service up to 300 guests (30 tables).
